Really, this is it. That step there at the bottom of this fireplace solves our proportion issue. Looks like I'm not the only one who walks around ABC taking pictures. This is exactly the kind of mirror I'd like over our fireplace. (The octagonal one I bought on One Kings Lane is, well, cheesy.) Today Marc and I went to Stowe Lake to look for turtles. We got all decked out in our rain gear, but the lady at the snack bar told us the turtles only come out when it's sunny. I've posted kitchen inspiration - and some of these photos - before, but I just can't seem to stop myself from collecting backsplash/countertop combos I like.
